Michael Vartan was married

The former Alias star Michael Vartan was married. The lucky woman is Lauren Skaar.

The marriage was celebrated Saturday at a resort in Newport Beach, California, with about 150 Guests between family members and friends. Victor Garber, a former colleague of Vartan in Alias (his father was in TV series), was among the witnesses.

The actor, 42-year old, and Lauren have exchanged a promise under a gazebo overlooking the ocean.

Vartan sported a tuxedo by Giorgio Armani, while the bride wore a Vera Wang custom-made with Swarovski crystals and beads details.

Michael tells People:

"My family is excited, like Lauren and could not be happier. Now my mother speaks only to have grandchildren. For the future we plan to live a simple life and happy, have children, dogs and being drawn by destiny. "

Lauren adds:

"Our families have tried immediately sympathy for one another, and probably before we knew that this was a serious story."

Vartan, now the protagonist in Hawthorne, and Lauren first met two years ago in a supermarket parking lot in Los Angeles. The engagement instead goes back to last March.
