I do not like to take this kind of news, just when it seems that couples should seriously separated or their relationship allows for more, but if Shakira is not nice to say that is separated, at least for me it is not, but it is true, Shakira is separated from Antonio de la Rua and has made known through a statement on its website.There are eleven years they have shared together, say they were good times and still are to support each other, are good friends and not give interviews or comment further. Here is the statement:
"Dear friends
For nearly eleven years together we have loved deeply, care about each other and the state side by side. Have been the most wonderful years of our lives and through the love and respect we have for one another have been an exceptional couple and colleagues.
However, since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to give a time in our relationship. During this time we continued to work together hand in hand, we have remained close and have kept absolutely private details so far.
We see this separation as temporary and as a time of personal growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives.
Antonio continues to work my business and my career interests as always. We go forward as partners, developing projects together, working hand in hand and in close communication. Our friendship and mutual understanding is indestructible.
We note that we will not give interviews or make other statements regarding this matter and appreciate in advance your understanding and respect during this delicate time of our lives.
